This very appealing Malbec from Château Lacapelle Cabanac is very nice on the palate—smooth with round tannins and not too strong acidity. The fruit is dark and rich—you can smell the blackberry and definitely see its intense red reflections. There is a somewhat herbal note to the wine which added to the deep fruit brings about a pleasant sweet and spice finish.
